Changing the Account Manager in Minute7 (QuickBooks Online Accounts)

For clients using QuickBooks Online integrated accounts, the account manager role in Minute7 controls billing, user permissions, and integration settings. Keeping this role current ensures smooth administration and accurate syncing between QuickBooks Online and Minute7.

Why you might need to change the manager

  • A new person is responsible for overseeing Minute7 and QuickBooks Online.
  • The current manager is leaving the company or changing roles.
  • You want to delegate account administration to someone else.

Helpful Notes

  • QuickBooks Online only: These steps apply specifically to Minute7 accounts integrated with QuickBooks Online. If you use QuickBooks Desktop, follow the separate instructions for that setup.
  • One manager per account: Minute7 recognizes a single account manager, so make sure the correct person is assigned.
  • Permissions update instantly: Once the change is saved, the new manager will immediately have access to billing and administrative settings.
  • Billing and subscriptions: Only the manager can update billing information, subscriptions, or deactivate the account.
