When I sync, I get the error message, “The record of Minute7 connection in QuickBooks Online couldn’t be found…”

Error: “The record of Minute7 connection in QuickBooks Online couldn’t be found”

This error appears when QuickBooks Online can’t locate the existing Minute7 app connection that should be linked to your QuickBooks Online company. In most cases, this happens when:

  • The Minute7 app was disconnected in QuickBooks Online
  • The QuickBooks Online company file was changed, duplicated, or restored
  • The connection token expired or was removed
  • A user with admin permissions removed the app connection without realizing it

Because QuickBooks Online no longer recognizes the original Minute7 connection, it cannot complete the sync.

 

How to Fix It

To resolve the issue, simply reconnect Minute7 to QuickBooks Online:

  1. Sign in to Minute7 as an admin.
  2. Go to Settings → QuickBooks Integration.
  3. Click Disconnect, then Reconnect.
  4. When prompted, sign in to QuickBooks Online and authorize the connection again.

Once reconnected, your sync should resume normally.
